Meeting of Secretaries General Ends in South Africa

The meeting organised by the Symposium of Episcopal Conferences of Africa and Madagascar (SECAM) in Johannesburg, South Africa  was from  March 10-14, 2014. It  had  as its theme: “The role of Secretaries General of National and Regional Episcopal Conferences in the  reconciliation processes, Good Governance, Common Good and Democratic Transitions in Africa, in the  light of the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortations: Ecclesia in Africa and Africae Munus.”

The Secretaries General also sent a congratulatory message to His Holiness, Pope Francis on occasion of the First Anniversary of his election.
