“DILEXI TE” OF POPE LEO XIV: A CALL FOR LOVE AND COMPASSION

Pope Leo XIV’s first apostolic exhortation, Dilexi te, “sets forth the very foundations of Revelation, highlighting the powerful bond between the love of Christ and His call for us to draw near to the poor”.

The Holy Father invites to rediscover the source and key message of the Gospel: “Anyone who says they love God and has no compassion for the needy is lying.”

Dilexi te calls on every baptised person, and indeed every human being, to commit themselves to serve one another, especially those who are marginalised.
